Welcome to the Black Bear 12U Tier 2 Team!
The Black Bear Hockey program focuses on developing players through a positive, fun, and healthy learning environment. We follow the USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) to ensure our players are receiving individual age-appropriate skill development lessons.
The 12U T2 coed team is a full ice, competitive, travel team program that focuses on player skill development. This level will practice three times per week, have structured skill sessions at every practice, travels regularly for games and tuition includes entry for three tournaments.
A Black Bear game jersey and socks are included in the tuition fee and only to be worn during games. Should a player's game jersey or socks become damaged or lost, replacement costs will apply. Players will need to provide their own practice jersey and socks.
Individual teams may organize and arrange additional on-ice and off ice activities for their teams - for example, additional tournaments and practices, however, that is outside of your Black Bear tuition and will be scheduled and paid for by the individual team.
You play a significant role in your player's success! At all levels, positive reinforcement is the best support you can offer. Stay positive with your player and stay positive about the sport, coaches, and other teammates.
Players and parents are expected to read and understand both the Black Bear Locker Room Policy and the Black Bear Player & Parent Codes of Conduct.

Download the free SportsEngine App here. This is how you'll view your team's schedule and RSVP for practices, games, and events. Team chat and other features are available as well. Important: you must use the same email address the primary parent/guardian registered your player with.
By default, one parent/guardian ("primary owner") will be added to the SportsEngine app at the time of registration. That primary owner can choose to add a second parent/guardian/user if they would like to. The second user will be able to RSVP and interact with the app the same way the primary owner does. Follow the steps below to add a second user:
